John Munson plays bass and sings in The New Standards.  A founding member of one of Minneapolis' best loved groups, Trip Shakespeare and that bands offspring, the chart-topping Semisonic, Munson leaves his mark on all the groups he plays in.  His melodious bass lines and mellifluous tenor are his trademarks.
