2019 Holiday Show

Dear Friends,

We have been asked more than usual if the Holiday Show is happening this year. Spoiler alert: IT IS!

For those in the know, this has been a year that has felt, at times, like one to forget, even as it serves up unforgettable challenges. But we have been fortunate! We have surmounted difficulty and are now doubly, nay, TRIPLY intent on creating holiday magic that comports with your holiday fantasies.

As is ever the case we will not divulge any secret information regarding super secret guests or otherwise about the show except to say that the three of us will be there, annealed, renewed and ready for you. Along with others. Who shall remain nameless.

See you, as always, the first weekend in December! Get your tickets here.

John, Chan, and Steve

TNS w/ Itasca Strings

As part of our 2019 Arts Tour grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, we're traveling to Grand Rapids, MN to present a fully orchestrated show with the players from the Itasca Strings.

Satuday, May 11th at 7:30pm. Tickets are available here.

This activity is made possible by voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Snow Days and Spring Festival

The Chinese call their New Year (which we are in the midst of) “Spring Festival.” Coming from Minnesota, this has always seemed weird. Even with Chinese New Year occasionally falling as late as February, it just doesn’t seem sufficiently spring-like in the northern hemisphere to say anything about spring. Especially not now. Especially not around here.

And yet the days are lengthening.

Soon we will be dancing on grass. Some of you already are!

Let us hasten your journey with some music. Allow us to dream of blossoms together, and to feel festive in our cold, northern way, as we mount drifts 1000 ft high.

Lots coming up! Check out our full list of upcomings, and come out and see us sometime.

And remember, 恭喜发财!
